Dried Teazle Head

A photograph - of a dried teazle head. The Teazle is a member of Dipsacus, a genus of flowering plant in the family Dipsacaceae.

Teazles are easily identified by their prickly stem and leaves, and by the inflorescence of purple, dark pink or lavender flowers that form a head on the end of the stems.
